My name is Felicity, which I shorten to Flix.
I have worked in healthcare now for 5 years. I have experience babysitting, which I started doing for a neighbour 12 years ago. Since then I have helped friends with their babies and enjoyed watching them grow and learn.
I am a fun loving, enthusiastic and caring lady who loves the outdoors and animals. I regularly take my godson to ride my horse which he loves! (He is 4 in January)
I enjoy reading to children, helping them with homework, arts and crafts, and mostly baking!
I like to encorporate as many stimulating activities as possible, and avoid tablets and t.v's if I can.
I have read a few books around play therapy with children and it has reinforced the need for physical 'doing' with objects to help learn and think through new situations.
Equally, I love being silly with the children and having some fun, but also being there for a hug and chat whenever needed :)
Based on my employed wage being a personal care assistant, it's a lower rate as I've less training with children than I do with adults. Though I've experience helping a childminder and can provide details.
