Bobbie, foreign au pair in Kennington TN24

My name is Bobbie, I am 24 years old and I live with my dad, brothers and my uncle. We have a dog too. I have over 7 years professional experience looking after children, most of which has been in Nurseries, however I currently babysit 2 teenage boys, and have babysat as young as newborn children.

I consider myself to be a very fun person, I can provide great activities for the children , but educational too. I believe I am a fantastic role model, I have great manners, speak and act politely, and do everything in my power to keep others safe and to assist them with anything they may need.

Some of my greatest acheivements in childcare has been to help children overcome their fears of creepy-crawlies (through fun activities), helping a child with delayed development to walk, even when health professionals were doubtful, and I have helped many children read and write, and use scissors correctly.
My favourite activities are messy activititis, Art, Ball Games and Role Play. I love reading stories and acting them out too.

I currently work in the mornings between 7am and 10am , cleaning for a restaurant. If I can find enough babysitting work , I would consider leaving my current job to babysit full time.

I have attended various training courses, some of which I have recieved certificates for. I have also completed online courses to further develop my knowledge and skills in childcare. In total, I have trained in Makaton, Autism Awareness, First Aid, Food Hygiene, Safeguarding, Behaviour Management, Fire Safety, Allergy awareness and SEN.
