Hello!

I am a dedicated and conscientious person who takes work seriously. I am highly organised, efficient and friendly. I am a fast learner and can complete any task at hand. I am also able to manage my time effectively and prioritise any work load.

I have always had a passion for childcare and have been babysitting voluntarily for family friends since the age of 14. I also began working in my church as a 'sunday school teacher' at the age of 15 and am currently doing this every Sunday.
This role requires me to plan activities for the children (aged 2-8)in my spare time. For example, producing worksheets for them to do and researching videos for each age group to watch to make bible studies more fun! I also take them to the park when the weather is permitting and they finish their work.

In the Summer of 2013 I worked in a nursery called ‘Enchanted Castle Nursery ’in Chingford, London
Role: Play leader
This role involved interacting with and playing with the children, feeding them, singing with them, reading to them and tidying up the facilities. Though this was volunteer work I enjoyed it because I loved interacting with the children. I also enjoyed it because of my experience studying Child Development in school where I was able to obtain an A in my GCSE exam and a B in my coursework making the whole grade an overall B.. This experience taught me to have more patience and to manage my time effectively.
From April 2016 to April 2017, I worked in a nursery called Busy bee’s day nursery- London docklands
Role: Child carer
Duties:
This role required me to serve children breakfast, lunch and snacks, change nappies, plan activities, put children to sleep for their naps, monitor their behaviour and food intake, heat babies’ bottles, tidy up the rooms, prepare beds for nap time, give parents detailed feedback at the end of the day and interact with the children. I enjoyed this job because it enabled me to be more patient, disciplined, and have better time keeping
