Ellie, foreign au pair in Maldon

Hi there my name is Ellie, I am 18 and currently looking to get into into the childcare industry, i.e nanny, babysitter. I have experience of babysitting due to looking after my 6 year oldtwin brother and sister and my 10 year old sister from a young age, and also from time to time babysitting my cousins aged 14, 12, 10 from time to time. I have always had a passion for working with children and I feel they give you happiness and make your life better. I've had experience by doing my child development placements at a primary school in a reception class and another at a pre school aged 2-5 years. I have currently been studying to get my childcare level 2 in a day nursery working with children from 6 months - 2 years but had to stop due to personal reasons but am still very much interested in working with children. I most enjoy the messy play, such painting, drawing sand play as I feel it gives children creativity but also teaches them about everyday life and how thats important. I believe its important to give your children the best start in life by encouraging them to play alone and with family such as siblings as it gives them the ability for team work and other skills they might need for the future.
