Nadia, foreign au pair in Newton aycliffe

My My name is Nadia and I am 18 years old (female) . I live Aycliffe, I am finished studying at college and this subject was childcare for 2 years

I come from a family of four including me this includes my parents Christina and Andrew who work outside the home one works in a school and the other for the council, I also have a 15 year old brother who is in year 10 going into year 11 at school studying for exams, he also has autism and adhd.

My previous childcare experience includes being around children in formal and informal environments and started from a young age and I have also studied at college in childcare and young people which I have finished and within this study I have been required to have over 400 hours in a childcare setting and I have worked with children and young people from the ages of birth to 19 years. I have also volunteered at a nursery setting at the age of 14 and when I was 13 took part in the British Red Cross babysitting course which passed me in fire safety and basic first aid. Within my college study I have also studied and carried out the care of babies. I have worked with children who have special needs including autism, adhd and children and young people who are disabled.
I also look after children through the week and these are for a single parent and also a couple, when I babysit the children I carry out many activities with them for example water painting, play with chalk, walks, going to park, baking, making things out of natural resources, scrap and memory books which the children really enjoy. The age of the children are 5, 6, 9 and 12 and I really enjoy looking after them and working with children. I have worked as a pre school teacher.

I take pleasure in the simple things in life and enjoy being outside, hanging out with friends, meeting new people, going for walks, being creative and reading.

I love musicals and I am in them as I am part of a theatre company, I also am really into photography and took an exam in this. I like to sew and be creative whenever the chance comes along, I do hold a full driving licence. I like to see and explore new places that I have not seen or been there before.
