Hi, my name is Jennifer and I'm 21 I have grown up on a dairy farm near wrexham, since I have been a small child I love spending time outside and around animals and have never been scared of getting my hands dirty. I have recently returned home from Canada where I spent 5 months helping my aunty by looking after grandchildren after she has a major opperation resulting in her needing a lot of help providing care when they weren't in daycareand I also was helping out on the farm when the kids weren't there. I am honesty, hard working, reliable and flexible. I would love at some time to travel to America for the year and be a Au pair to experience a different culture, and be able to study while experience this.
Anyway I guess I should tell you about why I believe that I would be your best choice. I said i have recently returned home from Canada helping out looking after Jake(4) Sam (3) and Claire and Gracie (18+16m), although most of the time Gracie was in daycare she did spend a few days when she was ill with me. I spent a lot of time doing crafts, and cooking with the guys and also reading, creative play, writing and drawing and before it got to cold I would take them out to the local park so they could let of some steam. I seriously enjoyed my time over in Canada and miss those four like crazy I loved the fact that when they came over I didn't know what was going to happen but I still loved every minute of looking after them even if it was when changing a nappy but maybe not a smelly one. I loved watching all four of them grow and can't wait to do it again if you'll let me.
I truly believe that I have a natural affinity with children and I care about the wellbeing, I am a good communicator and will always listen to them needs of everyone. I also really enjoy reading and not just the picture books although they can't be quite entertaing.
I studied health and social care when I went to college and spent 10 weeks work experience in 3 difference primary schools which where St Mary’s Primary School Overton, St Mary’s Primary School Ruabon and Bronington V.A. Primary School. Throughout my time within these school’s I learnt respect for the hard work the teachers do and how to communicate effectively with both the students and the teachers, because of my time in these schools i understand that importance of the education of children and that early education is beneficially for the development of the mind.
And don't worry I know what a mess children and myself can make and I'm not afraid to tidy up.
Jen :)
