Dear Parent,
My name is Ruby and I have recently graduated from the Royal Academy of Dance as a ballet teacher. During my time studying, I worked as a part time nanny for two families in South London: one of which required special needs care and the other required baby care. While studying my degree, I also held various ballet teaching positions in which I delivered ballet classes to children as young as two up to adults.
Prior to my studies, I held a homecare position in which I spent the majority of my time caring for a young girl with mental disabilities and providing social visits. I have excellent communication skills and am very patient and caring with an avid interest in child development and play. During my degree, I studied cognitive and social development as well as educational theory and practice. I am fun, energetic and outgoing and connect well with children, with a strong belief in the power of play and nurture in child development. I hold two current DBS checks (one for teaching and one for home care) and am up to date with all child and vulnerable persons safeguarding training and first aid.
I do own my own car and have a full, clean driving license. I enjoy cooking and am happy to do light housework tasks.
Please don't hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.
Kind regards,
Ruby
