I am 18 years old and currently studying Level 3 Health and Social Care BTEC to eventually become a midwife. I am very family orientated and can provide fun activities, games and quiet time for children as well as day trips out to the local park, zoo etc. I would prefer to work with children between the ages of 0-2 years old as this is my interest and I feel I could help them to learn using toys and communication. I am reliable, trustworthy, punctual and experienced looking after young children especially babies from birth to 2. I can also work with the parents to stick to family rules and boundaries that have already been put into place so that the child/children have a stable upbringing.
I am outgoing and active which is beneficial for looking after young children. I am also flexible, friendly and approachable. I am looking ideally for full-time work or something close for when I leave college however, I am available now from Wednesday evening until Sunday evening for help and support with children.
I have a fully enhanced DBS check and I am a qualified first aider.
Previous work experience includes a placement on the children's ward at Southampton General Hospital, a day nursery, a private ambulance company and a waitress at a local pub.
