I studied at YMCA Training and had been studying employability skills, functional skills and am now finishing my Childcare and GCSE Maths. I am a highly motivated, hardworking individual who is open-minded and ready to start working, I put 100% effort in everything I do and am determined to finish what I start. I am always happy to face new challenges and learn new skills that could help me in the future and can't wait to grow and succeed/achieve my goals.

Achievements
•Head of year- I achieved head of year in 2014 as best improved pupil for that year.
•Mentor- I gave support and guidance to the younger years and alerted teachers to any concerns I had with those students so they could get appropriate help.
•Prefect- I represented my school and helped make the school safe and secure place to be.
•Paired reader- I would often help the younger children to gain confidence with their reading.
•Cadets- I attended cadets; this means I have patience and good teamwork.

School 2013, Year 7 camp-team leader
Duties included:
Instructing students in certain activities, making sure they do not endanger themselves or others, supervising them at eating times also. Prompting the quieter students to participate, setting students at night and talking/reassuring any who are homesick.
Nursing home 2015 Prince of Wales drive- activity team.
Duties include:
Planning and organising activities for the elderly, fixing them drinks when needed, sitting and talking to them when I was free, if they had a problem or something concerned me I would tell a member of staff, setting tables for meal times and assisting the residents when they are eating, I also spent time working in the laundry room and worked in the office when all my other task were done, I often spent time in the shop they have tidying and sorting out displays.

I sometimes helped care for my Nan who had dementia, reading and talking to her and helping her with her personal care.

Nursery- all saints nursery
I am currently on a placement at all saints nursery, my responsibilities there are to look and watch over the children, interacted and play with them, reading stories to them, guide/help them with puzzles and activities, help at snack time, take them to toilet and help them if needed, watch them outside and think of fun new activities for them to take part in etc. I also help set up and put away the nursery as it is a hall and has to be set up everyday.

Hobbies and Interests

I love to read and I also enjoy writing, I enjoying swimming and go once a week with friends, I love music and am currently teaching myself guitar and am also writing songs; dancing has also always been a love of mine. I cook a lot as I really enjoy it, I cook meals but also love to bake cakes and other delicious foods, I am very fond of puzzles and do them often as I find it relaxes me.
