Megan, foreign au pair in Maidstone ME99

Hi,

I'm Megan and I'm looking for part-time or full-time employment in the Maidstone area in childcare. I have a beautiful niece who is 18 months old now, and I love spending time with her; watching her growth and development is wonderful. I am a very happy, confident, and outgoing young individual who always takes new challenges in her stride. I see myself as a friendly, well rounded person who is always willing to help others and I continuously endeavour to deliver a high standard of work.

Despite the occasional baby-sitting, and of course caring for my niece, I haven't had a huge deal of involvement in childcare in the UK. However, I spent a year working as a tutor of English in Turkey, and spent lots of time therefore, teaching youngsters between the ages of 5-13. Working abroad required initiative, self-motivation and a wide range of interpersonal skills. I have a very caring and friendly personality which is displayed to those who know me and makes it easy for me to settle in to new environments. I am looking to build a career in childcare, or to perhaps pursue a career in primary school teaching in the future, so I would love to gain some experience as a forerunner! :)
