Siobhan, foreign au pair - MK42 Harrowden

I come from a very large multicultural family and Growing up I always felt happiest when surrounded by the people I love and my favorite memories from life always lead back to them. I always knew that when I had my own family that I would want to raise my children the way I was raised. I have memories of going on adventures with my little brother with my parents near the wildlife by my home, fishing with my dad and the ones I cherish the most is the memories of my mum, dad and me dancing to music from the record player. my parents inspired me and shaped me to be passionate about the things I love and what I believe in and to never give up.

Socially I have a lot of friends and when I can I spend time with them, a lot of my friends are design students, therefore, we tend to go to art galleries, exhibitions and of course shopping. When I’m not with my friends I spend time with my nieces and nephews who I’m extremely close with. I have a strong relationship with all eight of my nieces and nephews and try to spend time wit them as much as possible. If I have time for myself I would be reading a book, watching TV or walking my dog.

All of these things have made me who I am I’m loving, kind, patient, adventurous, punctual and responsible. Becoming an aunt at such a young age I’ve learned to have the ability to find imaginative ways to problem solve and always see the good side of things.

when I am caring for a child it's important for me to find new and fun things to do that will benefit the child, when you're young it's the most exciting and magical time in your life. children have this amazing ability to see the world wich such imagination and adventure, therefore, i try my best to play on that by being inventive to make the time we have fun.
