I am a reliable, approachable and friendly individual who is currently studying a degree in Childhood Studies and Early Years at Northumbria University. I am versatile and a quick learner and pride myself on my very high standards and attention to detail. I am good at reading situations and planning ahead, and enjoy the challenge of responding to the ever-changing demands faced when working in a childcare setting. Balancing my commitments to education, work and social activities has frequently tested my prioritisation skills and enabled me to become more efficient and creative with my time. I set myself very high standards and always aim to beat them, not just meet them. It is important to me that my personal standards equal or exceed what is expected of me, and I thrive in and try to create an environment where good work is recognised. My hard-working nature and sound knowledge of child development has provided me with the ability to quickly develop a good rapport with adults and children from all backgrounds.
