Jennifer, foreign au pair in Newcastle-under-lyme

Hi my names Jen and im 32.. i feel i am a friendly, polite, patient, trustworthy and caring person who is a good role model to children in my care.

...i am a Qualified childcarer in Early years care and education and i have over 10 years experience...I qualified when i was 21 and i have worked in various childcare setting's over the years, (creches, kindergartens, playgroups)i was a nursery nurse until 4 years ago when i had my child, i have been a stay at home mum since then.

I have experience with children aged 0-15 years.

As a mother myself i understand the importance of leaving your child/children with someone you can trust and rely on.
I think as a mother there is no better experience, my mother was a childminder for 20 years so as i grew up i just knew i wanted to be a childcarer so i went to college and qualified with my NVQ level 2 and 3 in early years care and education

I have been a nanny also for 2 years which i really enjoyed, it was so special to share a mother's duty within the home and watch that child grow, unfortunatley the family moved abroad but we are still in touch which is just lovely..

I find looking after children very rewarding and feel it's a real passion to watch children in my care learn and grow through what i teach them and the safe and caring enviroment i give.

Ideally i am looking for work in my local area
(newcastle under lyme) Silverdale/wolstanton/maybank/basford/bradwell/chesterton/newcastle and surrounding areas as i don't drive.
