Dear Sir/Madam
I currently work with LEYF as a Level 3 practitioner.
I have been working for LEYF for over 3years.
Working with children throughout the years, professionally and voluntary has been fantastic experience.
I have experienced changing children lives from when they are young, helping them to have the best start in life.
Having a great understanding and knowledge means that I can get my head in the game straight away and ready to meet any new challenges that are set for me. Children and young people are the centre of everything we do and I can do this to the best of my ability. Supporting other staff members, ensuring a calm and better environment for the children is key. Knowing the policies and procedures and implementing into my work is essential.
I would like to have more experience in the childcare field, being able to be responsible for completing set tasks. There are so many skills that needs to be learnt and emphasized on, setting personal goals pushing myself to do and be the best I can be personally. Previously working in Ford Road Nursery, it has given me a great opportunity to meet and greet, be organised, complete set tasks, having knowledge and understanding of good communication, and working in a team, being professional and improving awareness. I currently work in Leys children centre nursery, which is a sister nursery to Ford road nursery.
Being open-minded, excited to do new things, enhance on new ideas and being something new to the table, considerate, approachable and respectable is key. Being able to work with practitioners and forming a good professionally bond also shows young people good role modelling. Being enthusiastic, brave, nurturing, inspiring and fun is vital within the work place and I most defiantly can ensure in my own practice that I will implement these.
