Amy, foreign au pair - S2 Sheffield

I have plenty of experience working with children aged 2-16. (Please See CV.)

I've done my level 2 First Aid twice & passed both times. I currently hold a Level 2 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (QCF) including children's first aid. I was the First Aider at Laser Quest. I have references available on request.

I'd like to think that I'm hard working, reliable, sensible, I can cook, I'm fun, trustworthy, versatile, focused, dedicated, patient & a good role model.

I don't have a CRB check at the moment as I can't afford it but i'm going to get it as soon as I can. I have a no criminal record.

I don't drive as I can't afford the lessons, provisional license etc, at the moment but I'm willing to learn.

Experience:
12 months at Laser Quest Sheffield as a Children's Party Hostess. Role included, entertaining large groups of children aged 6-16, setting up their games and equipment, handling and preparing food and drinks, organising parties, singing happy birthday, making and handing out party bags etc.

2 weeks at St Theresa's Nursery & Reception as a work experience placement as a teaching assistant. Role included, leading PE lessons and creating games and activities, observing play time, preparing food and drink, filing, reading stories and leading role playing games, helping with school work etc. ages 2-5

Numerous hours of babysitting including twins with Asperger's.

After school tutoring & home work help for my younger sister during her time at primary school and high school.

Qualifications:
I have 7 GCSE's A-C Grade.

I also studied Home Economics and Child Development as a GCSE but unfortunately my coursework was accidentally deleted after a fault with my computer and as a result I only received a grade D overall.

However my expected grade was a B and I also have some of my mock exams in which I received A*-B grades.

I also studied Graphic Art and Fashion Design at Hillsborough College in Sheffield and Musical Theatre, Puppetry, Children's Theatre and Performing Arts at High Melton Performing Arts College in Doncaster.
