Natalie, foreign au pair - S6 Stannington

Former colleagues describe me as being friendly, fun and hardworking with a passion for caring and working with children. I have 10 years experience in child care, working with children from the age of 3 months to 8 years; specialising in early years. I am currently room leader of the 2-3 year olds in a private day care setting, following the Early Years Foundation Stage. I have 2 years experience working in an International school in Thailand, where I was a reception teacher. I am devoted to ensuring that the care I provide is within each child’s best interest. With good communication and team work skills, I find it easy to adapt to working within all different types of childcare environments. I am a great team player, yet have the ability to use my own initiative, ensuring the safety and well being of children is always met. I have gained excellent interpersonal skills and formed lasting relationships with staff, children and their parents. I am able to communicate effectively and I am always very approachable.
