Charlotte, foreign au pair in Sheffield S11

I have finished my 2 year Childcare and Education course, level 3 at Sheffield City College. I am a caring, friendly and enthusiastic person who loves to make new friends and meet new people. I am a very reliable person and I always make sure I work hard to achieve the best results I can in whatever I do. On my course I went to placement two times a week at different primary schools working with children at age's 4-7years, parents and other staff and a nursery working with children ages 6 months-2 years. Throughout my course I have learnt all care needs and development for early years and babies, how to prepare nutritious, healthy meals, do fun activities indoor and outdoor and teach education that is relevant to the ages of children.
For over 5 years whenever I was given the chance I have always chose to do something that involves working with children as it is something I really enjoy. I joined the sports leaders for 3 years teaching sports to children ages 4-10 years for example dance, football, tennis and loads more and planning both indoor and outdoor activities and events such as relays, treasure hunts, mini sports days and more. My biggest hobby and favourite to teach was dance which I also choreographed with help from 2 other pupils the dancing for the year 3 (7-8years) Christmas play. I worked for Build a Bear Workshop where I was working with children and parents making sure they had the best and most fun experience.
I have also achieved a first aid certificate so I am able to act in the unlikely event of anything to happen in a safe and correct way.

I have recently been employed by the Royals of Emirates as a nanny for their 2 year old. I cared for him 24hours a day giving him meals, naps, taking him to groups, planning activities, putting him to bed, seeing to him whenever her woke up through the night and I also did housework including washing, ironing and hovering.
