I'm twenty years old whilst growing up my mother worked away so as a teenager I had to look after my younger sister and cook, clean and look after her and also keep the house in order. I have also babysat for family friends since I was 13. For 6 months I became a childminder for twins a boy and a girl who were 5 years old I took them places, read them books and lots more activities. I've also had placements working in a local primary school teaching small groups and a placement at a children's nursery. I am now studying health at college part time two days a week and have a part time job but would love to get a part time job or babysitting job to gain more experience working with children. After my college I hope to go study at university childhood studies which looks at children 0-18 years their social influences, development and so on. I was a cadet as a teenager in St. John's ambulance so I've learnt basic first aid which I feel is a vital skill to have when working with children as whoever is in there company will have to know how to react fast in worst case scenarios. I can also cook if needed and I also will keep things clean and tidy and also helping with homework or going to the park etc is not a problem, whatever is best suited.
