Rachel, foreign au pair in Swanley

My name is Rachel. I currently work full time in a retail store but I am ideally looking for a full time career as a Nanny within my local area (would need to give a months notice to my current employer). I am also happy to discuss part time and babysitting services too (my hours at the moment vary between 9am-10pm, occasionally working weekends).

There are a few times I am unavailable to work:
20th - 28th June
23rd July - 16 August.

I absolutely adore children and love helping them develop their educational and social skills. Teaching children a new word, how to tie their shoe laces or helping them solve that tricky maths question is one of the reasons I love spending time with children.

I love to cook and I also love the outdoors so would love to share these hobbies with children but also encourage them to find a hobby of their own choice.
I am an advance swimmer and can also ride a bike. I would happily offer to teach this to children if the parents are happy for me to do so.

I am a Leader at my local Brownie unit. We have 30 girls aged 7-10 years old and once a week we run craft and sports evenings so I am well equipped when it comes to thinking of things to do, even on those rainy days.

I have a huge passion for working with charities and aim to do overseas work roughly every 4 years. I have been lucky enough to of traveled to Thailand twice over the years. Both times I was volunteering at an orphanage for abandoned children in Phitsanulok. This year I have been given the opportunity to teach English in Ecuador for 3 weeks (reason for my time unavailable in the summer).
