Charlotte, foreign au pair in The Roundel

My name is Charlotte and I'm currently a PGDE student for Primary Education at the University of Aberdeen. I will be a teacher come August. As a result, I have had plenty of experience with primary school and secondary school aged children!

As I'm studying to be a primary school teacher, I have had experience teaching and supporting children from the age of 4 to 16. I have worked with children who have experienced learning difficulties and disorders of many types, such as autism and ADHD. Additionally, I have worked in a summer camp in Canada for children aged 7-15 living with type 1 diabetes. Whilst working here, I was responsible for the care of each and every child. This included making sure they were safe, clean and comfortable at all times. I taught arts and crafts at this camp and am really enthusiastic about creativity in children. My experience working in this camp ensured each and every childs safety was at the forefront of my daily practice.

As mentioned, I really enjoy arts and crafts as well as sports such as tennis, badminton, swimming and anything that involves being outside! I love pets of all types also.

I have full availability now until mid August (when the schools go back).
