I am a mother of 3 older boys with time on my hands due to being on a break from my studies.
I am looking for a childcare position as a babysitter.
I will be working towards completing the final year of the Ba (hons) degree from mid October. The course only entails me attending one day a week.
I am looking for a job I can fit around this. I intend on undertaking babysitting work for the next 2 years.
I have a level 3 Diploma in Childcare in the workforce,
Levels 4&5 Foundation degree in child and family studies
and I’m working towards my Ba hons degree in Applied social studies.
I have a fully enhanced DBS and I undertook paediatric first aid training.
As well as experience with my own children I have cared for many others throughout the years, one boy in particular from the age of 5-15 years old. His single mother was a touring musician and therefore was away a lot and I would have sole charge for numerous days and nights.
I come from a big family, I have 5 siblings and between us we have 17 children! I have had hands on experience throughout.
I worked voluntary for a few years for a children’s early- help charity and worked with children and their families in their own homes, refuges, children’s centres etc delivering emotional, practical support and intervention in order to assist them to a better outcome in life.
I have a sound understanding of safeguarding and I’m passionate about child welfare.
