Natalie, foreign au pair in West park

My name is Natalie , although i usually go by Tallie or Tal. I'm 21 years old currently doing an online criminology and human psychology degree. I have a very outgoing and bubbly personality and a great sense of humor. I'm caring, kind and always help others whenever i can.

During 2012 and 2015 i volunteered at a nursery working with children aged 1-4. During my days there i would look after the children and do different activities with them to keep them occupied for example playing games, reading books etc. After dinner time i would help the staff put the babies/toddlers (2 year olds) to sleep, setting up their mats and blankets and sit between two children whilst patting/rubbing their backs to help them off to sleep. Then i would rejoin the preschoolers where we would watch TV or play outside.
I would help set up for meals and clean up after they were finished. I would also clean up the play area whilst they were eating to make sure it was neat and tidy for the next time they came to play.

One of the subjects i did for GCSE was Health & Social Care where i learnt how to understand the age development stages and take care of children - elderly that may require special educational needs.

I have two younger brothers (15 and 11) who i have been helping care for, for about 5 years. I see to them before and after school, keep them fed and entertained, making sure all homework is done and to a good standard. Before dinner is usually "chill out time", where they get out of their uniform and into their own clothes or sometimes pjs then watch TV or play games etc. After dinner is "study time" - this is usually where i help my 11 year old brother improve on his handwriting.

I think musical ability is an important skill to have and always encourage learning. I myself play the guitar, banjo, ukulele and piano. My 15 year old brother plays the drums and cornet, I'm also teaching him the guitar. My 11 year old brother usually dabbles in whatever instrument he can get his hands on, not well, but he tries and that's what matters.

I love children of all ages, i have a 2 year old goddaughter that i look after every other weekend and have helped look after other newborn additions to my family.
