Hello! I am Madison but I prefer to be called Madie, I started my venture into a career in childcare as an apprentice but I helped care for my nieces and nephews when they were young and still occasionally help look after them. As an apprentice I worked in a nursery with children under 3. I had always wanted to work in childcare and I love caring for children and seeing them grow and learn. I would like to be with a family long term so I can create a bond with the parents and children alike and see them grow. I don't have any experience as a nanny but as I said I often helped look after my niece and nephews growing up so have experience with children of all ages.
Working in a nursery I understand the EYFS framework and can incorporate the EYFS in all activities and learning experiences I carry out. This knowledge also allows me to provide age appropriate activities for each and every child and give them a learning experience that is suitable to them.
I have also got a paediatric first aid certificate as of October 2016.
Occasional babysitting | $6.00 per hour |
Partial / after-school care | $9.00 per hour |
For evenings and weekends I would like a minimum of £10 for the first hour this is to cover travel costs. If you will be out for more that 3 hours I am happy to receive £6 an hour (without the initial £10 charge).
With part time or full time care I am happy to discuss a fixed daily/weekly rate if the hours are set in stone (i.e. £40 a day for part time or £180 a week for full time)
This is based on care for one child, if there are multiple children then we would be able to discuss the rates.
Full time hours are based on 8-12 hour shifts per day.
Part time would include school drop off and pick ups or morning/afternoon shifts.
No recommendations yet, soon it will be your turn?
