Regan, home childcare in Ayr

Hi, my names Paige but I prefer to go by my middle name Regan. I'm 18 years old and currently living in Ayr with a friend. I lived in Inverness for a year before moving here to do a college course in beauty care and make up. I then moved to Ayr to do make up artistry but after some difficult decisions in my life I realised it wasn't for me and wasn't the career I wanted to pursue. I tried to transfer courses so I could do childcare but sadly they were full up. I've been looking for apprenticeships but I've not been successful in my search and because of this I thought it would be a good idea to look into babysitting because it covers all aspects that I'm looking for in a career and thought it would help me out in the near future if I do go back to college. I don't drive unfortunately so my hourly rate is mainly based on the fact I might need transport like busses or trains as I don't mind travelling. I know this might be an issue for school runs but if the school isn't too far I could walk them and I would make sure they were safe! I love being around children because of how care free, imaginative and creative they are. I do struggle with anxiety and depression and have from an early age, sometimes this can effect how I work and how often I work but no need to worry as I've found that when I'm working with children, I feel like all my problems disappear. I can't explain it exactly but they make them all vanish because they make me so happy because of they're playful and hally nature. Im able to build relationships with the children I work with as I feel it helps both them and myself in feeling more comfertable and at home with each other, that I'm able to help them more with any work, advise or issues and just be able to feel like family instead of a job. That's one of the things I love about childcare, you're able to build relationships and make them feel that there's always that extra person out there if they need it and I love being able to do that because I struggled growing up as I always felt alone.
