Hi. I am Ellie, and I'm 16 years of age. I will begin by clearing up that I do not have any professional experience in baby-sitting for anyone other than family or friends. I have grown up with a sibling, who is now 7 years of age. I have been a large part of looking after her over the years, for example, when she was born I gathered plenty of experience with feeding, bottles, nappy changes, potty training and all of the technical side, such as how to hold and carry, and position the child safely. I have a GSCE child development qualification at grade B. I am very enthusiastic and bubbly as a person, and love to see a child laughing, smiling and enjoying themselves, however being safe and res. I can care for children of any age, and I am available full time, days, nights and weekends. I am very useful around the home, and more than willing to help with homework and school projects, any extra practice needed in topics such as English, maths and so on, I am more than happy to work with the child, and ensure their learning experience is fun and enjoyable but constructive. I am capable of cooking to a high standard and safely, and would have absolutely no problem in preparing fun meals for the child, and also (obviously dependant on parental preference) prepared to bring my apron along to make some tasty treats and do some baking, and teach the child to make their own fairy cakes, cornflake cakes, and prepare their own colourful sandwiches or salads! I'm more than prepared to get involved in the fun and games, and would be more than up for a game on the wii or the Xbox, to put a nice family film on and have some popcorn, play some board games together, have a kick about in the garden or down at the local park, or even hide and seek and the other classics to keep the children laughing and smiling. I am prepared to help out with any household chores also, and do these regularly at home. I am happy to help out with any families and their little ones, however I would really like one family who need regular helping out, so I can develop a good, trusting relationship with the family, and most importantly, a special bond with your child so that they love the babysitter coming around; Wouldn't you rather see your child running to the door with excitement that the babysitter is visiting, than glued to your leg crying that you have to go?
