Christina, home childcare in Billericay

I am a level 3 trained Early Years Educator. I have been working for my current employer for over 9 years.
My role requires me to work within 34 schools in the Basildon and Laindon areas of Essex.
My work is varied but includes working alongside my colleague in a mobile crèche, for children of parents attending support groups and educational programmes, (0-5yrs) age group.
Stay and Play sessions,
Supporting and sign posting parents of pre-school children,
Play worker for school holiday activities, (5-11yrs) age group.
I have also been closely involved in a local ‘School Readiness, ’ Pilot Scheme. This early intervention programme involved visiting pre-schools/nurseries in my local area for children transitioning from nursery to reception, hi-lighting any problems children/parents may have prior to starting school and putting the required help/support in place.
I have worked closely with EAL children and their families, providing support and building on their speech, language and communication skills.
I have experience of small group work, 1:1 support.
My training includes; Paediatric First Aid,
Up to date knowledge of EYFS,
Current Safeguarding Training
I have experience of report writing, planning, and assessments/observations of children. Functional skills include IT, Maths and Literacy.
My strengths consist of; excellent organisational skills, the ability to stick to deadlines, and working well within a team as well as independently.
My work ethic is to, ‘go the extra mile, ’ and my ‘Duty of Care, ’ within this field greatly reflects this.
