My name is Anju Miah.

I am a caring, warm, helpful, friendly and an enthusiastic person who likes to help people. Being optimistic and having a can-do attitude helps myself and others to do their best. I like to make the most of my abilities and I go out of my way to help others the best way I can.

I have good communication skills therefore people feel comfortable talking to me/asking for help. I am good at being able to adapt to different situations. My basic nature is to help people however I can with an honest intention.

I have brought up my sister aged 13 with my mum and always taught her to respect others as well as herself and to focus on making the most in life especially a good education to prosper in life.

I have supported a single mother after separation from her husband. Supporting her children with their homework on a weekly basis and attending parents evening with her to translate and find best possible actions for her children's futures. The eldest out of both her sons is Autistic, so I am aware of how to communicate and manage their behaviour. I am also aware that behaviour patterns vary between each individual with special needs. I have had experience with helping children aged between 2-16 and non-English speakers with their homework.

I speak fluent English, Bengali and I can also speak well in Hindi and Urdu. I have a lot of abilities that may be useful in childcare so if anyone requires more information, I am more than happy to answer any questions. I will answer honestly and to the best of my abilities.
