hello to all the families out there. my name is Silvia and for the past 2 years I have been an au pair in the United States. I have been with 3 families and all of them have wonderful things to say about me. I have worked with kids age 7 to 16. Curentlly finished my 2 years as an au pair and i am relocatig to Bristol, United Kingdon. I am interested in continuing this and looking for a family that can offer a g5 visa this point i am looking to find a job as a nanny in the area. I finished back home Physical Therapy and for the future I would like to continue in that area because I like helping people. This is my letter for all the families out there with a shortly description about my self : Dear Family,
My name is Silvia, I am 23 years old and I am from Romania. I live in a mountain village up in the city called Brasov. Brasov is located in the central part of the country, about 166 kilometres (103 miles) north from the capital - Bucharest. Brasov benefits from a winter tourism season centered on winter sports and other activities. Poiana Brasov is the most popular Romanian ski resort and an important tourist center preferred by many tourists from other European states. I come from a family of 4: my parents , Mariana and Ion, both work at the village hall. I have only one sister, Andrada, 30 years old. She is married for 7 years now, and she is a pharmacist and her husband is a dentist. They live in a different city, about 13 hours by train. Last year i graduated from University of Transilvania, Medical school, and now I am an phisiotherapist in recovery.I wanted to pursue a master degree but in a different specialization and at that time was impossible this end I think that spending a year abroad would be particularly interesting and different and I would have time to calmly reflect on my future professional orientation. My first language is, of course, romanian and I also speak English and Spanish. I started learning English in primary school, 12 years ago and it was also the language of instruction in the secondary school I attended. I have in addition been taking courses taught in English at university.I am nevertheless aware that learning a language within a classroom context is by itself, incomplete. So, in order to really be at easy in English I feel that a cultural immersion would do me a lot of good.
When it comes to child care experience, I have looked only after my cousin son 1.5 years old for whom i am also a baptismal godmother and after the daughter of some close friends, when they were visiting us. We played games, read stories, drew. After Grama Ioana's son Sebastian I looked over 8 months. I was taking him for long walks, preparing his food and after the cold weather came the walks in the park were replaced by games in the house. I thought him to recognize animals, to give objects on request, to give kisses . Until him I had Anastasia, a very beautiful little girl. Because she was close to my home, I was spending a lot of time with her, even when her parents had things to do I was going there and sing to her, preparing her to go to bed. After that it came the 2 years in unites states, where i took care of children ages 7 to 16. Duties included: waking the kids, getting them ready for school, making lunches, taking them to school. Twice a week doing grocerries for the whole family , but also helping them with different errands during the week. Keeping children rooms clean, getting them from school, getting snacks ready, doing homework and then daily extra activities. Working late night once or twice a week, one of them being saturday. When it comes to leisure, I take pleasure in the simple things in life. I enjoy being outdoors, being with my friends, going for walks, visiting places I have not been to, reading a good book, trying to learn how to ski, and to do downhill. I try to be very polite , creative and humorous One of my best characteristics is my tolerance and patience. Nowadays it is very important to be tolerant because there are so many different countries and tradions.
I would be happy to have the opportunity to speak with you: to answer whatever questions you may have about me or my childcare experiences; to learn more about your family; your interests and to know more about what you expect from the nanny arrangement.
I hope that i am the right person to take care of your children. Thank you very much for your interest in my application! I look forward to hearing from you.
Yours Sincerely, SILVIA
