Hi, my name is Georgia. I am an enthusiastic qualified Level 3 childcare practitioner who is first aid trained. I have a vast amount of experience working with and caring for children from 8 weeks to 9 years old and have worked alongside children with special needs. I am looking to continue my career within the childcare sector as a nanny but I am also available for baby sitting.

I enjoy working with children as it is rewarding to watch them learn, develop and grow as individuals and provide them with a stimulating environment whether that be inside or outside.

I currently work as a nanny share for two families and their children. It is sole care on Wednesday and Friday looking after two one year old boys and a six year old girl.
I have gained a variety of experience working with babies, toddlers and children through out my college course and work. I studied the BTEC National Diploma In Children's Care, Learning and Development (Level 3) and achieved triple distinction. I have worked within 2 schools with children from 6-9 years and worked 1-1 with children who had Autism. I have also had the opportunity to be a nanny/ mother's help to 8 week old twins and have worked within two nurseries where I have built upon my skills as a practitioner. I am therefore aware of the Early Years Foundation Stage and have used it through out my college course/work and meeting learning outcomes of the National Curriculum.

As part of my course I had to plan activities for babies, toddlers and children and ensure they could be adapted to suit their individual needs. In addition to this, I am aware of the importance of children being able to learn through play and exploration as well as working in partnership with parents/carers.

I have a paediatric first aid certificate, a valid DBS check and a diploma in Children's care, learning and development (level 3).

Thanks.
