Melissa, home childcare in Bury

I am 21 years old and just completed my Level 3 in Childcare. I completed this qualification in a nursery setting (where I am still currently working). I absolutely love working with children, however, I have decided I would rather work with children in a home setting. I believe that by working with children in a home setting I am able to give them more one to one attention and I am able to plan more enjoyable activities. Because I work at a nursery, I have worked with all ages of children from a couple of months up to 5 years old, (I have looked after family members older than this age). I am constantly looking for exciting activities for children to take part in throughout the day and would love to bring these ideas to your home. As well as this, I would be more than happy to take on extra roles such as doing household chores to help parents. I am also happy to prepare/cook meals for both the child/children and you/the rest of the family. I absolutely love helping people out, I find it very rewarding, especially when I can see that my work is appreciated. I see myself as hardworking, trustworthy, polite and enthusiastic. I easily fit into new situations and put my all into the working environment. I would be excited to get to know you and the family and become part of the family who you can trust and rely on.
