Hello families!
My name is Imogen and I am 19 years old. I am looking to become a part time nanny/babysitter to work around 20-30 hours a week (weekdays) as I would love to do some online courses to increase my experiences even more.
I am a fun, bubbly and mature character who has a passion for working with children. I have grown up with my mum who used to be a nanny so I feel like I've learnt on the job! When I'm not working I spend time with my family, especially my little sister. Or I am babysitting in the evenings for many families, currently I have around 6 families but that is all usually evenings. I have been a supervisor at a children's role play centre for the past 2 years so I have good confidence and understanding of engaging kids in fun and educational activities. I don't have a childcare qualification yet however I do have A level health and social care, sociology and psychology. So all of them combined I think I've learnt the main things I need to.
I believe a good care giver should be fun, loving, caring but also firm and fair! Being in this industry you have to be warm and approachable and I pride myself on having these traits and I can't wait to be matched with the perfect family!
Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing from you. :)
