Hello, I am a mature , experienced and qualified Teaching Assistant/Nursery Nurse with 15 years experience working in local primary schools including supporting children with both learning and physical disabilities. Most recently I have been working as a nursery nurse in a private day nursery. My role as a Keyworker required me to have sole care of ten key children average age of 29 months.
I have worked in a variety of other settings including Maternity in Arrowe Park Hospital and in an educational visitor attraction. As a
result of my varied experience I am creative, versatile and professional.
My hobbies include crafting, cooking and walks in the countryside. I am passionate about nature and conservation and enjoy sharing my knowledge of the natural world when out and about with young children. I also love sharing books with children and have a large collection which have been well loved and used over the years. I have experience of planning and carrying out age appropriate craft activities and am quite a hoarder of 'weird and wonderful materials' my excuse being they will come in useful for something!
Ideally I would be looking for full time work but would consider part time for a short time.
