I am an Art teacher with a full Post Graduate Certificate in Education. Before this I studied Fine Art at university but I teach a variety of specialisms including ceramics, printmaking, textiles, 3D and photography. I have been working with children for over 7 years and fell in love with the role from a young age. My first experience with young children was when I was studying at college and had the chance to work with students in schools around Kent on a 1 to 1 basis. This shaped my career choice and I still feel as passionate about working with children as I did then. Seeing a child light up because they’ve overcome an obstacle or progressed in something they’ve worked hard for is an amazing feeling.
