Jessica, home childcare - DD1 Dundee

My name is Jessica. I am polite, well spoken, well orintated, responsible, enthusiastic and a very happy smiley person :). I am very good with children of all ages.

I have experience working with children of all ages.
I have previously volunteered with Dundee women's aid as a peer mentor during the summer program, I was taught to understand children in emotional states and how to deal with them. The children always looked up to me as a big sister and always felt comfortable talking to me.
I have also volunteered in little people nursery working in the baby room ( 0 to 1)and also in the pre school room (4/5) in the baby room I was taught to change nappies, makes bottles/baby food, play with them, put them down for naps etc correctly. In the pre school room I would mostly just play with the children I would also arrange fun educational activities and follow them out with the children would also help make/serve snacks/lunch.
I done my work experience in Clepington primary school I worked in various classes and I would help with there work and sometimes I got to teach my own lesson.
I was in cadets for 5 years which taught me to take and follow out instructions safely, promptly and properly it also taught me to use my own initiative which has been helpful. Cadets also out me
through my first aid training.
I volunteered with the under 12's project for a couple of weeks working with young girls and I also helped with the parents and toddlers group.

I would be willing to cook meals/snacks on request.
I would be willing to help with home work and house chores on request.
