Hello, I'm Rachel. I'm a young qualified Early Years Practitioner at the age of 20. I left Carnoustie High School and went on to study Early Education and Childcare at Angus College for three years and it was one of the best decisions of my life as I am very passionate about my career choice. I am a friendly and easy going individual and I am a strong believer in good manners.
I am looking for any experience at the moment but I do ask to be respected as this is my career.
I am a patient, flexible and caring young woman. I chose to work with children due to the great value of everyday is different and the challenges that everyday they may bring. I love the fact I would be a significant part of seeing them grow up and to reach their milestones in their child development. I feel that mutual respect is a big thing when working with children - having good communication skills by demonstrating good listening by getting to their level so they feel like confident individuals, speaking to a child with the appropriate tone and language so they know exactly what is expected of them.
It is important for children to explore and discover in relation to their learning - I am creative in my thinking and idea's and like to share these idea's with children so they are able to see what they enjoy doing and what they don't and by discovering this I will also be making an impact, therefore we are both learning in a fun filled way.
