I have 30 years experience as a Childcare Practitioner within a variety of child centred roles.
I am Experienced, Knowledgeable and Qualified, Very Skilled within Early Years Development including newborns and babies. I believe I have an excellent child centred ethos – that children learn best through play from a natural, stimulating, well balanced environment where nurture, nature and the outdoors provide the perfect opportunity to explore, that allow children to take risks and extend their curiosity and thinking and where adults form the basis of being an exemplary and positive role model.
I am extremely passionate about working within a professional based environment where I can implement and utilise my childcare experience and genuine interest of children, compassionate nature, organisational skills and childcare knowledge to their best advantage.

I believe my strengths are working within the Early years Sector where children are aged birth to 5 years and in the fundamental basis of their development.
I am a warm, capable, conscientious, considerate, fair, fun loving person who genuinely enjoys being around children and is naturally inspired because of their awe, joy and wonder of what life opportunities are presented from the natural world.

I consider myself firm yet fair, fun loving, creative and enthusiastic.
As a mother myself I have learned to give unconditionally and nurture my children in a way that enables my children to be well rounded, kind, considerate and happy.
I recognise that parenting is a skill that is learned along the way and it isn’t an art form that you have to get just right but develop skills that work best and suit your family’s individual circumstances and requirements along the way.
Positive guidance and direction , reinforcement of values and listening to children, speaking out as an advocate for children in extreme, unjust, unfair and diverse situations allows children to gain trust and form the basis of a warm, nurturing relationship.
I like to work with families in recognising that they and they alone are their children’s first educators which therefore allows me to work in a professional capacity at all times.
Ideally I am looking for a live out position, full time and permanent within the Derbyshire Location or at least 20 miles within the surrounding area.
