A great child carer, is someone who is passionate, creative, caring, a good listener. Someone who is willing to get down to the level of a child, to play with them, to engage with them and sometimes to even act like a child and role play. I believe these are all qualities that I have.
Listed below are some more qualities that I believe I have;
- I like to make genuine relationships with the children and their families - its important to have good communication and get to know them on a level in which both sides feel comfortable.
- I am flexible - I would be willing to look after your child whenever you need me, on a daily basis and in emergencies.
- Every parent likes to know what there child has been doing, or what they have learnt today - I would be willing to do a daily book on the activities that your child/children have done - which can be used as a good idea to link behaviour in with it. On top of this, I believe its always good to make memories right? So a folder full of pictures, drawings and any other memorable things will all be put together as a keep sake.
- I will follow your rules 100% whether it be on what your child eats, or what they have to do within the day, I will follow these and ensure everything within the day is completed.
- I believe I would be a good asset to anyone's family and will be an excellent nanny or baby sitter, providing good stimulating activities and a good childcare service for your child.
