PROFESSIONAL and FRIENDLY BABY SITTING SERVICE
I would like to introduce myself: I am Timi , a fully trained, competent and reliable childcare professional with a total of five years experience looking after young children. I am a bright, kind, friendly, patient, happy, energetic, creative and imaginative person, with a passion for working with young children. I absolutely love helping them reach their full potential through play and learning, and teaching them practical skills, from potty training to using eating utensils to writing their name!
I recently completed the CACHE Level 2 course in Childcare at Cambridge Regional College, while working as a Nursery Assistant for the Bright Horizons Day Nursery on the Cambridge Science Park, where I looked after children from 4 months to 4 years old. My job involved organising fun and educational activities, reading stories, supervising them during free play and at meal and snack times, and following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) guidelines. I am DBS checked, have a certificate in First Aid, and have also done courses in Child Protection training and Setting up a Home-based Childminding Service.
My experience also includes four years of fulltime childcare in Switzerland (2001 – 2005). For the first two years I looked after three children (a baby 8-month-old and two girls aged 4 and 5 years), and then a girl and a boy of 4 and 6 years. My duties included playing games with them, reading stories, preparing meals and snacks, supervising mealtimes and bathtime, and helping the older ones with their homework, as well as feeding the baby and changing his nappy etc.
I’m originally from Hungary but I have been living, working and studying in the UK for the last five years. Before the childcare course in and starting at the nursery, I worked in catering while attending classes and courses in order to improve my English. I got married here too. I am currently available for babysitting.
