Fiona, home childcare : East Lothian

Hello! My name is Fiona- I'm a friendly, warm individual with a love for children of all ages.
I am extremely reliable and responsible, with an abundance of patience.
On a daily basis I maintain a positive attitude as I feel that that is important to ensure that the children have the best possible time whilst in my care. I am young and healthy therefore have lot of energy to play games and entertain the children for hours.
I find it easy to build relationships with children of different ages and personalities, which is a quality I'm very grateful to have!
I feel it is important to have great fun, but I am also able to maintain discipline.
It’s also important to me to find activities for the children that are as engaging as possible!
Although I have no formal childcare qualifications, I have had plenty experience caring for children ranging between ages newborn-7 years. I have younger cousins and family friends that I take great pleasure in looking after. I also worked as a part time nanny for the last 9 months.
The parents of the children would be more than happy to provide written and/or verbal reference.
I have a full DBS check, full, clean driving license, as well as my TEFL qualification as I taught English in schools and orphanages in Thailand and Cambodia. I am also refreshing my emergency first aid certificate this month. No criminal record.
