Kira, home childcare in England

Hello! My name's Kira, I am 22 years old and I'm a trained childcare practitioner from Bristol. I have close to 5 years experience working with children from when I was an apprentice to now a Room Manager for a Toddler room in a nursery setting. I am looking to further my career and follow my dreams of becoming a Nanny for a wonderful family!

I have lots of experience working with children aged 6 months-7 years which gives me confidence when changing nappies, feeding, and making bottles all the way up to teaching children to read and write.

I have especially worked with toddlers and pre school ages, giving me the knowledge of behaviour management , potty training and teaching new skills such as makaton and phonix. I have managed lots of different activities with children such as art workshops, baking, day trips and used my skills in drumming and ukulele playing to lead music activities!

I have also experienced working with children with ADHD and autism which has given me the knowledge to manage behaviour and consistent routine.

I am really excited to be part of a family unit as family are extremely important to me along with helping children develop and grow.
