Hi, my name is Julia, I am a mature lady and a Mother myself, my own now 25 and 29. I brought up my children single handed since they were young.
I have always enjoyed caring for children and was employed by a family in the Forces when I was very young as a live in Nanny for boys 17 months and 3 years.
It was 10 years ago, after 21 years doing admin for the NHS that I decided to return to child care as I realised that my happiest times have been spent looking after them. I did some training in early years and child protection, took a peadiatric first aid course, registered with OFSTED and became DBS checked. I also have a full, clean UK driving license.
I am experienced with all age groups but often spend more time with under 3's. My priority is always to provide a safe and protective environment. I am gentle, caring and patient and flexible in my approach to activities etc., being guided by the children and the parents.
I assure you that if I were to care for your children I would look after as if they were my own.
Baby sitting of an evening is a lower rate providing the child is sleeping and I am not required to do any additional tasks.
My normal daytime hourly rate provides a fully insured, dbs checked, first aid trained childcare in your home.
