Hello,
I'm Ellie, I'm 28 years old and I have a Diploma level 3 in childcare.
I have 9 years of experience in care, which includes babies, infants and also children with learning difficulties. I have babysat on many occasions for families with children of all ages.
I hold certificates such as first aid, autism, epilepsy, medication and health and safety.
I am a very dedicated professional who loves supporting children to reach their full potential. I'm very enthusiastic, creative and proactive and work well under pressure. I easily adapt to the different ages, personalities and routines of the children I care for. I am experienced in caring for children with different needs, mainly Autism, ADHD, Down syndrome and emotional and behavioural needs. Therefore, I am calm, resilient, caring and understanding. I take great care in supporting children with their education, as well as engaging them in joyful activities. In my previous job I was an activities coordinator, planning and taking part in day to day activities, indoor and outdoor activities, holidays, day and evening trips.
The most rewarding experience I have had so far was supporting a single mother with her new born child in the first year of his life. I cared for him on week days and over night on various weekends.
I truly enjoy caring for children and supporting their families as required.
