My name is Kayleigh and I am 26 years old. I am currently working in a primary school as a 1-1 LSA. I have worked at the school for nearly 3 years with the same child (from year 1 to year 4). I love what I do, however I am going to be moving home so will be unable to travel to my current job, and would like to continue working with children.
I have 15 years experience working with children who have cerebral palsy (at home) and have worked for the last 2 and a half years alongside a conductive therapist, speech therapist and physiotherapist with a little girl who has cerebral palsy in a mainstream school. I am completely knowledgable with the new schemes of teaching; using phonics and the new methods for mathematics, literacy and handwriting.
I have worked with ages from new born (in a creche ) to 15 years ( in an after school club) but my main experience is with the younger years. ( 1-8)
I like maths and literacy and love reading stories as well as getting creative. I would say I am fun, honest and caring. And would try to ensure that everyday was eventful and exciting.
I do not currently drive but it is something I am working on. Until then I can use public transport.
I'm looking for preferably Monday to Friday and could start January.
I look forward to hearing from you.
