Hannah, home childcare in Horley

I am an experienced, reliable and hard working Nursery Practitioner with Four years experience, working within a busy and fast paced nursery, where I have been a key member of staff responsible for running a room within the nursery. I have also acted as a key person to a group of children, observing their development, recording it, supporting them also setting out new achievements for them to ensure that they are meeting all of their milestones, Also working closely with their parents, carers and or guardians.

As a Nursery Practitioner I have to work using my initiative, I am responsible for observing the children and their development closely, setting out new goals for each individual child depending on the individuals developmental needs, planning and setting up activities to support and enhance their development. Also following Health & Safety guidelines, policies and procedures. As part of a daily routine I am responsible for serving and preparation of healthy and nutritious food, caring for the children and ensuring that all of their basic needs are met. Also communicating, liaising and working in partnership with parents, carers and guardians. Whilst encouraging the children to experience new things and making sure that they are happy and comfortable in the setting.

I also have 2 years experience of caring for children on a regular basis on weekdays and weekends from their homes as a childminder, During this I have to set out stimulating and encouraging environments and activities to support the individual child’s development. I also preparing/ serving healthy and nutritious meals for them also assisting with homework, etc.
