Hello,
My name is Alycia, I am 19 years old and live in Bradford. I have recently finished a 2 year course; a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Health & Social Care and Health Studies. Whilst doing this course I did work experience at a nursery. Before doing this course I did an Edexcel Level 2 Certificate for the Children and Young People's workforce. This was an 8 month apprenticeship in which I worked at a nursery for the duration of the course. I learnt many things whilst doing my placement at the nursery, including:
-How to care for babies and young children.
-How to meet babies and children's individual needs.
-About child development.
-The importance of maintaining children's safety.
-How to speak to children's parents/ guardians in the appropriate manner.
I also learnt how to build and maintain relationships/ bonds, not only with the children, but with my colleagues and children's parents.
I have recently returned back to the nursery I did my placement at a few years ago. I love working there and with children. I find it so rewarding and feel I have the correct and appropriate attitude to work who children.
I am hardworking, fun, loving, bubble, kind and dedicated to my work/job.
Ideally, I am looking for parttime/ full time work, (as a babysitter or live out nanny).
I look forward to hearing from you! x.
