I have lots of experience in a range of different places. I have completed courses in Childcare, Health and Social Care. I have had lots of experience in childcare settings. I have worked in a special school and a nursery. From these experiences I have developed team work skills because to promote a happy environment you have to work well as a team. I believe from the experiences I have had I can handle anything.
I am a very caring person who has enjoyed helping the school with a charity event called “Movember” I participated by selling moustaches and wristbands within my spare time to help with the event. I also stayed after college and baked cakes and cookies which contributed to the money raised. I and a group of friends sold them to the students and staff at sixth form. To me it was a great opportunity to be able to participate in raising money for a good charity. I also took part in another event called Macmillan I and a group of friends stood in St Stephens dressed as elf’s because it was Christmas time. We were selling reindeer food, cakes, sweets and chocolate. It was a very successful event. I have also taken part in the Race For Life event with my college it was such a good day and so amazing to do. My main skill is patience which has developed through working in all the different settings with children of various ages. I am also creative which has been developed through planning and carrying out activities and coming up with ideas to raise money for charity. I have excellent communication skills because I build relationships with staff, children very easily. I also have a positive can do attitude this will be essential in any working environment. I have worked in a special schools for placments also.
