Markella, home childcare in Bangor

I am Markella. I am a qualified early years teacher from Greece who came in UK to do a postgraduate degree. Since i was a child my dream was to work as a kindergarten teacher. Here i am now following my dream to work with children.

As a person i am very calm, organized and happy, trying to enjoy every day of my life.

I believe that letting children free, helps them to build their personalities and their creativity. Thus providing a safe environment of support and love, children can explore the world.

I have worked and interacted with children in three different kindergarten schools. Two of them were back in Greece, where as a teacher I organized every day activities. The most recent one was in Portugal where I did my Erasmus internship. I was working in Oporto British School as a teacher assistant. During my time there I had the opportunity to work with small groups of children in all the areas of learning, through different games. Thus, being a staff member in OBS helped me becoming familiar with the English education system.
Moreover throughout my university studies I worked in child care. I was babysitting a 4 year old boy for a year and I still have very close relationships with the family.
