As a student who has completed a year of tertiary study, following a year of work, travel and volunteering after completing my secondary schooling at Wanganui Collegiate School, New Zealand, I am excited to embark on a future of work and study for personal growth and development. You will find me to be flexible, co-operative and willing to work hard with sound interpersonal skills and the ability to use my initiative. I am an efficient and highly organised person that enjoys challenges and opportunities for learning and development. I work well as part of a team and on my own. I’m always punctual and reliable, and considerate of other’s needs. I am a committed and hardworking young lady who strives to learn and further my development opportunities.
I have a variety of experience in many babysitting and nannying roles with ages from new born to 16. My work with the New Zealand police and previous cleaning jobs means I am also up for anything involving cleaning, cooking and other jobs around the house if needed and love to help out absolutely any where you like. I have always had a love for children and people and wanting to help as much as I can. You will find I am super caring, kind, honest, reliable and very hard working, but love to have a good time and really make kids happy while learning as well, I also believe in being firm if needed but out of all the families I have provided care for I have never walked away without lovely hugs and friendships with the children and keep in contact with many of them to see how they are!
My main two nanny jobs over the last 7 years of childcare work involved 2 families with kids ages 1-10. I was working full time with them and this included a variety of sole care jobs, such as, interacting with children and doing different activities with them both in doors and out, helping them to learn, either through my own activities or homework, cleaning and cooking in the house, pick up and drop off at kindy and school, after school activities such as swimming, caring for new borns, making sure the family home was respected and the kids were disciplined how the parents liked, helping children to complete tasks that are meant to be done, such as home chores, and having fun and building a relationship with the children.
I have always had a passion for helping people and find that caring for children has always come naturally to me, I am a total people person and love helping and seeing kids grow and learn as happy children. Lending a helping hand where possible is just what I love to do!
