Emily, home childcare in Bournemouth BH1

Hi, I am a 31 year old, living in the Iford area of Bournemouth. I moved here with family nearly 3 years ago but have grown up visiting family here and in Poole. Childcare has always been a passion of mine every since I was young. My mum worked in various childcare settings which I often "helped" her with after school and during the holidays. I have a fun personality and really enjoy country walks, beach visits and messy play activities. I firmly believe that children learn as much through child led play and exploring as they do with structured learning. I am currently doing a distance learning Child Psychology course.

I have over 12 years experience in childcare settings. Within this experience I have looked after children from 4 months old to preschool age. During this time I have followed the EYFS and have a good knowledge of it, I have also planned many activities and play which were age and stage (ability) appropriate.
