My Name is Lauren. I am 24 years old and I am a qualified teacher. I am now working as a self employed personal assistant and nanny. I love working with children and I love building strong relationships with a family and working closely with them. I have gained a lot of experience in schools and nurseries since the age of 16, along with private tuition and childcare. Working with children has always been my passion and I have a great imagination which would help me to plan activities and learning through play with your child(ren). I would love to work as a family Nanny, however I am open to babysitting and other childcare options.

I completed my BA Degree in Education Studies in 2014, and then continued my studies and completed my PGCE in 2015. My passion for childcare began in my own primary school education, where I had inspirational teachers who I grew up wanting to emulate. I now have experience of working as a teacher, and although I loved it, I am now thoroughly enjoying working closely with families. I have completed first aid training and safeguarding training, so I am confident that I could identify and minimise risks, and I would know the procedures and protocol to follow should this arise.
As a teacher, I view myself as a lifelong learner. I want to continue and share my learning journey with you and your family. I have a passion for childcare and I aspire to be an inspirational role model for the children I care for.
